Hockey

(English version below)

Nowadays (250)

Petrzalka, Slovakian Mountains

If you happen to come to Slovakia before May 15th, you’ll see a certain sport-international atmosphere on the streets. That is, groups of drunk people with colourful t-shirts singing in several languages. The reason is the ice-hockey world championship taking place in Bratislava and Kosice this month.

So far, Slovakia is not having a great tournament, they lost 3 out of 4 games (the last two against Russians and Czechs, big rivals) and today, against Finland, they’ve got their last chance to remain in the championship. And although I was never that much into hockey, I’m a bit worried.
