Celebrating post # 100 on section Nowadays, and celebrating much more my new laptop. I am like a child with new shoes, pressing buttons and changing things so that I leave it as my new travelling home (old one is now with my brother, I hope he will treat it fine).

Glass Building 209, En algún lugar de las Américas

Celebrando el artículo número 100 de la sección Hoy en día, y celebrando mucho más el nuevo portátil. Estoy como un niño con zapatos nuevos, apretando botones y cambiando cosas hasta dejarlo como mi nueva casa ambulante (la vieja “casa” se la ha quedado mi hermano, espero que la trate bien).

Bueno, acabo de volver de Nueva York, un viaje muy bueno, con aventuras como siempre, con reencuentro con la familia… enseguida empezaré a colgar el cuaderno de bitácora. Pero, ¿a que no sabéis qué había en mi oficina cuando he abierto esta mañana? Cristales por el suelo y, sí, una ventana rota. No es que entraran a robar otra vez, sino que los operarios que cambian la moqueta en la habitación de al lado le han dado un golpe a la ventana intermedia… y llevo todo el día esperando a que alguien venga a limpiar y seguro que tardan bastante en poner un cristal nuevo. De vuelta en Texas.

Glass Building 209, Somewhere in the Americas

Well, I just came back from New York, a very good trip, with adventures as always, remeeting my family… I will start soon with the binnacle notebook. But I bet you don’t know what I found when I opened my office this morning: Glass on the floor and, yes, a broken window. It’s not that they broke into again, but the workers who are changing the carpet next door hit the intermediate window… and I have been all day waiting for somebody to clean up and I’m pretty sure it’s going to take a lot to get a new glass. Back in Texas.
